Who's pants on fire???

     Anyone remember that old children saying, " Liar, Liar pants on fire, hanging from a telephone wire."

     Well that's what I think of our interim GM.  He has lied to all of us rate payers.  Mr.IGM told us all at the 218 meeting he'd do everything in his power to cut costs. Has he NO!!!!  Spending over $2600.00 for paint and now buying snow chains for all the trucks, why, why???  I tell you it's almost as if the employee is out to spend the money as fast as it comes in.  Especial the employee that can spend the money, like our IGM.
     I can see painting the office building because they use only a thin coat of paint in such structures. And picking the colors of the business for the office, but why paint a building with a tile roof those colors. It looks #~@^%&*<>:+ are they color blind. It reminds me of something you find in Mexico. Sorry Mexico!!
And why paint a building that did not need it, and you do not want it to stand out?? It's not a home property it's a business.
  Is this employee enforcing our policy's and procedures, again NO!!  I believe he wants everyone to believe he's doing a great job, however, it's window dressing to me.  Let's get down to the real business of our CSD to provide us with clean, safe, AFFORDABLE, drinking water..
      WHY, WHY, are they buying drinks from the market??? Seems to me that it would be cheaper to go to Costco and stock-up on theses drinks.  Get a couple ice chests to put on the trucks and buy ice from the market.
     In theses tough times businesses are cutting spending and some employees are having to take cuts to keep their jobs.  Businesses are cutting insurance coverage and employee benefits.  Has CSD done any of theses things, again NO!! The employees haven't even lost some of their holiday pay. So what if the rest of the governments are closed that day..  Our CSD employees are being paid for over 10 holidays a year. Cut them back to 6 holiday pay days. Pay them for Memorial Day, the fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day, and they only get paid for theses holidays if they land on a week day. Which of course is thanksgiving day and labor day, end of story.
     You know anyone who will lie to you will steal from you as well!!
      Our CSD is a " will to work" place which means any employee can be fired with out cause any time.. And all of our employees know this or should know it..  That's why I do not understand how any employee can legally sue for being fired.  But then again I'm sure that there are lawyers out there that will take any case, because a lawyer takes an oath to the court system, them to other lawyers, them themselves, with the client being fourth on the list.. And that my friends is how our court system works. 
      Please come to the CSD meeting on Monday the 16th of May!!!
